On 12 October we were delighted to host an EV100 visit to MIRA Technology Park. EV100 was established in 2014 as a Government/Industry initiative to boost the electric vehicle (EV) industry development in China. EV100 is a non-profitable association of Chinese companies involved in EV technology development and manufacturing, as well as EV infrastructure, EV business models and intelligent systems. It is also acts as China’s most influential new energy vehicle think-tank.
EV100 hold Annual Summits that take place in January each year. Last year a number of UK companies including MIRA Technology Park attended the summit in Beijing. The EV100 visit to MIRA Technology Park and other companies within the region was a follow-up from the Summit. Companies in the delegation include established OEMs GAC, Dongfeng and new players such as NextEV and other less known EV makers and supply chain companies.
During the EV100 visit we showcased our business proposition and our capability in Electric Vehicle Engineering, Functional Safety and Advanced Battery Development.
In the evening Jack Bartlett, Business Development Manager, MIRA Technology Park and Greg Harris, Head of Commercial, Strategic Projects HORIBA MIRA Engineering attended a dinner with the EV100 delegation held at the British Motor Museum, hosted by the C&W LEP.
